Ella's Mission Florida Fort Lauderdale

  Wow! What a week!! I'm going to be honest, I don't even know where to begin haha anyways, this week flew by, and it's crazy! On Wednesday this week, I will hit my 100 days in Florida! WOOHOO!! I don't exactly know how to feel about that yet, but let's pretend it's not happening lol I don't even understand how time could go by that fast! Anyways, back to reality. I learned so much this week, about myself, about this new area, and about the ward members!! We made so many new friends, and I LOVE IT!  I have to say, one of the highlights of the week was that I got to see my uncle!! He made a random stop by in my area, and took Sister Davis and I out to lunch! That seriously was the cherry on top of the week!  Every day this week, the sun was shining, and the birds were chirping, so all good things happening in the neighborhood haha and then we met our friend, Stephen. He was the craziest person I have ever met haha he was saying things that didn't make sen...

  This week was probably one of the slowest weeks of my life, not even exaggerating!! As you know already, I left Pembroke Pines and now I'm in Royal Palm Beach and Wellington!! It was so hard to leave, but I can see the growth that is coming because of it! I'm not going to lie, putting your entire life into the Lord's hands is not easy, but is so worth it:) He knows way more than I ever will, and He knows exactly what I need and when I need it!  My new companion is... drumroll... SISTER DAVIS!! LETS GO! She is so kind and bubbly! She has seen every side of me already, and it's totally not because I've cried like 100 million times, but YAY! We arrived to our new area, which is now two areas combined into one, and we are over two wards!! WE LOOOVE! Oh and did I forget to mention that we pink washed the area! Which means we are both new to the area, and it's like a clean slate😊 we had nothing to go off of, but we made it work haha don't ask me how we did it.....

  This week was so amazing. Yes, I do say that all of the time, but it actually was:) to start it all off, we got to go to the Fort Lauderdale temple! UGH! I love the temple so much, and it was just what I needed!!  We also got to ride the bus this week, and we are finally getting the hang of it! We met 5 new people that day and I went on exchanges this week! I was the lead of the area, which I'm not going to lie, was kind of scary, but I loved it!! We started teaching a new family that moved into our area, and they are awesome! I can really see their desire to learn more about the gospel and come closer to Christ!!  The best thing happened this week... Teresa came to church! AGAIN! I absolutely love Teresa! She has the sweetest spirit, and she just always says how much she loves church! Every time we leave her house, she says, "bye baby, love you." UGHHHH! Melts my heart!   First of all, can someone tell me where the time went? I've been on my mission for 3 months now?!?! I think I've already reached the point where I dont want to leave. Like ever.  Okay let's get to the good stuff. This week, I'm not even kidding, was MIRACLE FILLED. For starters, the Gonzalez boys, Emmanuel and Julian, are baptized! I can't even believe it! Because it was fast Sunday, the Gonzez boys got up and bore their testimonies at church!! They said,  "I'm ready to get the Holy Ghost spirit."- Emmanuel Gonzalez  They truly were smiling from ear to ear, and when they got confirmed, the spirit was so strong! I absolutely love being a missionary, and getting to be apart of people's journeys. I love to see how much people grow and seeing the light of Christ in them, grow every single day.
