11 MONTHS AS A MISSIONARY?!!

I can't even express how crazy it is to already be at 11 months! I'm in shock! I didn't believe it when people said it goes by fast, but now I can understand! Being a missionary is the greatest blessing in my life right now! I know I say it a lot, but the gospel of Jesus Christ changes people from the inside out! I've seen it so many times, and I am so grateful that God gives me the opportunity to be part of His work and His purpose:)  Let's get started with the week:) I'm going to be honest, it was one of the slower weeks, but still good in its own ways:) I'd give it aaaa... 6.43 haha of course not every week will be amazing, but it's the way you look at it that makes it better! Choose Joy am I right?!  Here's some other funny highlights: - we went for a walk, and of course had to stop and hug a tree... you should try it sometime:) it's very therapeutic  - elder Greenig (an elder in our district) literally effortlessly jumped out of his chair ...

We're coming for ya Francisco!!

Heyo!! I don't think I've said it in an email for a while, but I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY! This week was slower, but it still was amazing, and we still saw miracles!  If you already looked at the pictures, you probably saw the big seed Sister Arlint is holding, and we found it waiting outside of Red Lobster for our friend Ivan! In her own words, "it's like a dinosaur... aaAAAHHhh!" Ivan is the sweetest soul on this planet! He takes us out for dinner all the time, and I am just so excited for him to be baptized!  Now that reminds me! We went to a baptism on Saturday for someone in our zone! I just have to say, I LOVE baptisms! Quite literally:) they always bring the best feelings and I know it's because that person is taking the first step towards our Savior! Baptism is only the gate to so many blessings, and one of the blessings is living with families forever! They had all the missionaries that were there go up and sing that song! Music just hits different y...

"DANCE! Boogie wonderlAAAnd."

Happy Monday Friends! I have so many things to tell you! Let's just get crackin'!  Well great news!!... drumroll please... OUR FRIEND IVAN IS GOING TO BE BAPTIZED!! WOOT WOOT! I don't really know how to explain it, but my whole body just hurts because it's about to burst from being so happy! Being a missionary is such a blessing! I love being able to be apart of someone's life journey with Jesus Christ! I love being able to see the light growing (physically GROWING) because they are reading the Book of Mormon and learning who Christ is in their lives! So yeah! February 11th! Mark your calendars! And mark it for February 4th too because that's Justin's baptism day! 😁 Okay to continue, we had the most BOMB lesson with one of our friends Amir! Literally a heaven sent, elect man from God! No jokes! We met up at the park with a member from our branch and when he showed up, he pulled out his Book of Mormon and there was a bookmark in it because he has been read...

"Go get em' Sister Tigers!"

Hello again! You'll never guess, but another transfer, GONE!!! I can't even believe it! I am just so eternally grateful to be a missionary for the Lord! I truly know that this is God's work, and I couldn't do it without Him! Anyways, it's been a rollercoaster of a week, so bare with me as I try to put my discombobulated brain into an email:)  To start the week off... I passed out... it was great! I turned pasty white and everything went black! We were walking back home from ghe gym, and Sister Arlint and Sister Anderson grabbed my arms to help me walk back because I was feeling a little dizzy and nauseous, and the next thing I remember is my whole body going limp "like a rag doll" (Sister Arlint) and everything goes black! Sister Arlint thought it would be a good idea to try and get me on her back, so Sister Anderson started to push me up, "okay, I'm just going to grab your butt!" (Sister Anderson) but it wasn't working haha (and keep i...

Collin's Girls!!

Back at it again! Alright, so many of you will be happy because this will probably be the shortest email ever!  To start it all off, both Sister Arlint and I were dying this week for many reasons haha! We were sick, but the work still goes on! The biggest miracle of the week (it may sound small to you, but it's huge for us!) was when our friend Ivan said the prayer at church! Every time we have met up with him, we ask him to say the prayer, and he always says no and that he will pray when he's ready... but HE DID IT! We were so excited! It's the little things in life you know?!  Well anyways, let me explain my email title... Collin's girls! As I've said many times before, we went downtown in delray to say hi to all of our friends, and Collin was there! He was a man we met the first week of the transfer and he doesn't believe in religion, and is spiritual. Well this time we showed up and the first thing he says is, "IT'S MY GIRLS!!" So now we are ...
