#dowhatyoucan't WITH HIM

"Anotha week, anotha spiritual dolla." I can't believe I am actually writing this email, but this is my last one! My mission is at the end, and it honestly feels like a fever dream! This cannot be real! I'm not sure when it will hit me, but it will soon, and I don't think I'm going to be ready for it! Last night was my last miracle call for the mission and I had to give my departing testimony! The whole time I was just like, THIS ISN'T REAL!!! I honestly never want it to end, but I know God has bigger and better plans ahead, SO FEAR NOT! Let's get to the week shall we??! I have to start by saying that we had to deal with so many dogs and dawgs this week... there are 2! The first dog was because we were biking and Sister Fletcher got chased by every dog we passed and almost got eaten alive! She was peddling so fast, and I know this makes me sound so evil, but I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants, BUT I DIDN'T hahaha! "You go away! It...

"I'm a bucket"

Good morning! Happy Monday! Saying good morning is just the happier way if saying heeeeyyyy, so that's what we are doing now! Even if it's at 9pm; it's still just good morning haha! I hope everyone had an amazing week! Lots happened this week and at the same time, nothing super exciting happened, but I'll tell you anyways haha  SO first let's get this out of the way... we met snoop dog... just go look at the picture right now... don't continue reading until you have looked at the picture... I'll wait... okay great! Sister Fletcher saw him and was like "we have to take a picture with snoop dog!" And I said, "but he's holding beer!" And she goes, "exactly. It's better like that." So yeah, we are Florida women now and it's awesome haha other crazy thing is we held a hamster named Simba, and he sat on our lap while we shared a message with this cute family in our ward! So we were a trio for 30 minutes!  Basically this w...

“Taquito Me!”

It's been a while since I've talked to yall! As in a while I mean it's only been 5 days haha but this email is going to be one of the shorter ones lol so let's get to it!!! We went to the house of the Lord this week, so naturally it was the best week ever! The spirit is always so peaceful even on the grounds! It was a little sad because it's one of my last times going to the fort lauderdale temple before I go home! So naturally I bawled my eyes out haha but it was great! And the coolest experience happened! So in January, Sister Arlint and I went to the temple with our recent Converts, Justin and Ivan and did baptisms for her great grandparents! Well this time, we were able to go through the temple for them to be endowed and I got to be there for that as well! Let's just day the room was full! Full of the spirit, love, and our ancestors! It was an Arlint, Heaston, Jensen, Fletcher, and Miyamoto reunion! Side note... speaking of Sister Arlint, we were in the ba...

“I Have Brown Sugar in My Toes!”

This week was full of so many things! But here is the BIGGEST NEWS!! JOSEPH IS GETTING BAPTIZED ON OCTOBER 7TH!!! I don't know if any of you remember me mentioning him last week, but he is the definition of ELECT! Seriously! You are probably thinking to yourself, "wow, she says that about a lot of people!" But this time I am actually serious hahahaha let me tell you! So! Every single time we meet, he is always one step ahead of us! The day we asked him to be baptized, everything was going crazy! Satan was trying to stop it from happening! Our phones died and it was over zoom, but we had just enough to make it 45 minutes! Okay, my brain is currently not working, haha so I'm just going to let you read the lesson review we made after our lesson... "JOSEPH IS GETTING BAPTIZED! He is the definition of an ELECT man from God! Seriously! THE coolest! So basically he is in 1 Nephi 12 and he wants to be done with it by tonight!!!!! He said that he completely forgot to pr...

“He’s done it again folks!”

Oh hey!! It's been probably one of the longest weeks of my entire life! Definitely not in a bad way, but the days were short this time, and the week was long hahaha I don't even know how to explain everything!  So basically we moved... we moved last week, and that is why I couldn't write an email! SO SORRY! But hopefully this one will make it up for you! Okay, back to moving! In simple terms, there were demons attacking us and our house... so naturally we left, and now we are living in Homestead which is the very bottom of our area, and it's 30 minutes away from everyone because we are in the boonies haha still in Miami though! I don't think you'll ever see 4 girls pack faster than we did! Our entire house was packed and in the car within an hour and a half! Thankfully, we never have to go back there! The people here are built different, but I don't think it will ever be crazier than Hollywood! Miss that place haha Speaking of Hollywood! Bradley and Yelris...

"Tipsy on the lime in my dirty coke..."

OH MY GOODNESS!!! So, turns out I've hit my last transfer! Aaaahhhh kind of freaking out, and at the same time it hasn't even hit me yet! So it's going well! It's been a very long week and a half since our last pday, and I am dead tired. So tired that I woke up yesterday with 2 purple lines under my eyes. I was not well haha. But I am so so excited for the new transfer! I am going to... MIAMI!!! I'll be in the Killian ward with the cutest sister, Sister Fletcher! Love her to death! Let me get on with the week now.  THE SISTERS CONFERENCE!!! It was AMAZING to say the least, and the theme of it was based off of John 1:48. If you haven't read the parable of the fig tree, go right now! It is one of my very favorites! Basically it is about being seen under the fig tree, and that Christ does see us. Obviously we needed to have figs to decorate the center of the tables according to the one and only Sister Cluff! Love her. So she sent us all on a wild goose chase tryi...

"Please don't let it be the boys from the Eglise!"

Heyo! Welcome back to another week of the life of Sister Jensen. Feel like so many things happened this week, and at the same time nothing super crazy happened lol so here goes nothing.  We started teaching the cutest kids Bradley and Yelrihs! I don't remember if I mentioned them in an email before, but we went over to their house to teach them and decided to bring their favorite candy! Bradley's is blow-pops, and Yelrihs is cookies and cream hersheys. Well anyways, they are two tough cookies for sure. They had question after question, and it took a lot of patience lol but they pinky promised us they would pray about baptism! So we are super excited for them! But then... the funniest thing happened... someone knocked on the door, and the first thing that Bradley says is, "Oh please, oh please don't let it be the boys from the Eglise!" Let me give you some context: Eglise means Church in creole, and the boys he is referring to is the elders that used to teach him...
