"Stephen! We want to pray with you!"

 Wow! What a week!! I'm going to be honest, I don't even know where to begin haha anyways, this week flew by, and it's crazy! On Wednesday this week, I will hit my 100 days in Florida! WOOHOO!! I don't exactly know how to feel about that yet, but let's pretend it's not happening lol I don't even understand how time could go by that fast! Anyways, back to reality. I learned so much this week, about myself, about this new area, and about the ward members!! We made so many new friends, and I LOVE IT! 


I have to say, one of the highlights of the week was that I got to see my uncle!! He made a random stop by in my area, and took Sister Davis and I out to lunch! That seriously was the cherry on top of the week! 

Every day this week, the sun was shining, and the birds were chirping, so all good things happening in the neighborhood haha and then we met our friend, Stephen. He was the craziest person I have ever met haha he was saying things that didn't make sense, and he took us to see his broken down motorcycle and when we turned the corner, there was a massive bird cage... I lowkey thought he was going to stick us inside of it... anyways, he was so funny. He just kept talking and talking, and Sister Davis goes, "Stephen! We want to pray with you!" I could not hold in the laugh anymore, and I was on the verge of tears hahaha it was the funniest thing ever (I wish you could have been there) and it didn't help that the elders were just making him talk more by asking random questions LOL whew it was soooo funny!!

Okay next thing haha, we were able to heart attack some of the ladies in our wards, and it was so fun!! It brought me back to when my friends and I would go door bell ditching! Good times, good times. 

One of my biggest takeaways from the week would be so see everything as an opportunity! I don't know if you know, but I am typically a shy person at first, so going up to talk to people, is not my strong suit! But recently, I have found myself being drawn to go talk to everyone I see, and it's amazing!! Even if you do something small, like smile or say hi, that is what Christ would do:) 

And as you know, I can send an email without telling you what I learned this week, so brace yourselves because it's a good one haha: I started to read a general conference talk called God's Love: the most joyous to the soul. Here are some of the notes I took from it:)
- when you know and understand how completely you are loved as a child of God, it changes everything! It changes the way we feel about ourselves when we make mistakes, when difficult things happen, and our view of God's commandments and our view of others! We start to see everyone as God's children that He loves perfectly! 
- "even if [you] were the only one living on earth, Jesus would have suffered and dies just for [you]." 

How amazing is that last quote?!?! I just love it! Jesus Christ is my favorite person alive! I know He loves me, and I know He loves everyone!

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
