So I got hit by a car...

HEY! HI! HELLO friends and family!! This week was one for the books! Where to even begin? Well let's start with the super cool miracle!  #Mondaynightmiracles. It's a real thing! We decided to go biking and OYM (open your mouth) but we decided to just do by being guided by the Spirit! As we were riding, we passed this one street, and I felt like we needed to turn around and turn down the street. We did, and we soon found ourselves in a neighborhood that we have been in before. There was a lady who sent in a referral our first weeks in Boynton and we decided to go back and see if she was home. When we knocked, a man Kenny answered the door and he was SO COOL! He was asking all sorts of questions like, "what makes your church different than all the others?" I was like, "well, I may know a few things about that!" We talked a little bit, and set up a return appointment!! It was so excited, and that just set us up for success for the rest of the week!! Later tha...

97 days until Christmas!!! No one's counting...

If I could describe my week in one word it would be wild. I'm going to be honest, not a lot happened, and by that I mean I don't remember a single thing that happened. Here are a couple highlights:)  I met Ella Jensen! She is literally me. I am her. And we are the exact same person. She is a cute young woman in the ward I'm serving in right now, so you already know I had to take a picture with her lol we also saw the biggest tree on the planet. Not sure if it actually is the biggest tree, but it was at that specific moment in time haha  We got a referral online from the coolest man EVER! He was waiting for our call all day and when we talked, he said he had already been baptized into the Christ Fellowship church. This place is the great and spacious building. No jokes haha! Everyone we talk to goes to that church!!  Anyways, this week was giving all the fall vibes. It was raining and cold; and by cold I mean 80 degrees haha. But that us cold for me! We made pumpkin...

Singing in the rain

Oh hey hey! What a week haha! Let's get started, because there is a lot to cover:)  First, we rode the bus this week! I'm going to be honest, I loved riding the bus! I felt like I was in a movie or something and I was living in New York city. I think I could get used to it, but then it would get boring lol. Anywho, we missed our first bus, of course, but we finally got it an hour later! We ended up being 2 hours late to our appointment, but we met so many cool people:) Carlos, the bus driver, told us to find him again that same day and get back on his bus! We tried, but we just weren't in the right place at the right time to see him again. We did meet Fedi and her mom who only spoke Creole! They said they wanted to come check out our church and we were like, umm yes please do! Okay now fast forward to when we got home and then biked the rest of our appointments! As we were biking, guess who pulled up next to us? I'm waiting... it was CARLOS! Haha miracles!  Alright, n...

Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...
