Elder Morrison said what??!

Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. This week especially was just full of so many different kinds of people, and I LOVE IT!

I'm just going to sum this week up in some bullet points:)
- Let me start with Joe... Joe came up to us in Bass Pro shop and took our whole district to lunch! He was following us around, and we were a little scared and then he was super friendly, and sometimes a little too friendly. He sat in between Sister Mcleod and I and we each went one by one around the table teaching the restoration HA! He grabbed Sister Mcleod's and my hand, and he was like staring into our souls... kinda scary, but he was an adventure to say the least.
- Also, I don't think I've ever been more tired in my entire life! Literally! We woke up at the crack of dawn on Wednesday to film a music video for the Creole Facebook page, and it was soooo fun, but man! My eyes can barely stay open! The song is called LI KA FE L, and if I'm being completely honest, I have no idea what it is about:) but it sounds good, so that's what matters! We got to fly a drone, and it died right when it was above the ocean... but it's okay. It came back home lol.
- we saved 13,000 pounds of food at feeding south Florida! Let's goooo! We boxed water for like 3 hours straight!
- Charles quit Marijuana COLD TURKEY! He's the coolest human ever!
- "ducking and dodging in the wilderness"- Charles
- also found out that Charles had 15 girlfriends at once! Yep, you read that right. 15! But that was his past life, so we're chillin
- We were running on God speed on Wednesday!
- fun fact: the food critic in ratatouille is the Gordon Ramsey of disney! According to Elder Hutchins
- we went over to a family in our wards house for dinner on Sunday, and oh my goodness they were so funny! I wrote down some of the things they said because I couldn't describe the night better than what they said... "we're having ribs tonight. They're already on the grill" - brother Belnap "please bless that we won't have any more ingrown nails, so we can grasp things properly"- Corbin belnap... yes. The young boy said that in the closing prayer. They were burping and farting, and there were rib bones flying all over the place... quite literally. What an interesting night that was hahaha
- Brian the Baller (he's like 6) tried to make a waffle in the toaster, but the toaster was broken, soooo he ate it cold haha

So, we had stake conference this weekend, and it was awesome! We were sitting in the front with our friend Charles so he could hear! Then we got a text... I looked at our mission president sitting on the stand and he pointed to look at our phone! Here's what it said...
"Hi sisters! Elder Morrison may call on you to bear your testimonies- be ready."
My heart dropped! One of the 70 were there speaking and I was just scared for my life! My heart was beating so fast, that you could literally see it move HAHA! we sang, and then BAM! He called on me:) yay! The walk up was scary, and then the fear just went away, and I don't remember a single thing that I said! That's how you know it was the spirit and not you. On my way back to my seat, President Pingree gave me a fist bump haha! I also learned at stake conference that the best pineapple in the world is found in Ghana! According to President Nelson.

Okay, I promise this is the last thing:) OUR FRIEND CHIGOZIE IS ON DATE! WAAAHOOO! She's the cutest little lady from Nigeria, and oh my goodness I just love her to pieces! She gave us hair wraps, and taught us how to wear them and everything!

This week Charles said, "we're in God's university." This whole earth was created just for us, and all God asks us to do is to keep his commandments. When we think about Christ and oir love for Him, it drives us to want to be like Him, and the way to do that is by keeping His commandments. Keeping the commandments is an act of faith! And if we want to know who we are, we have to do things that will bring us to that knowledge:) I love this gospel, and I LOVE being a missionary for the Lord in South Florida!

Love,
Sister Jensen
