"Actually take your time, Jesus is more important"

no surprise here, but I am already sunburnt! It's only been 6 days haha but it was only a matter of time! Anyways, this week was just a Rollercoaster of emotions! I got to Florida on Tuesday and we spent the night in a hotel and the next day I met my companion, Sister Mcloed YAY!! I love her and it turns out she has only been out for 6 weeks so we will both be learning together!

First, we went grocery shopping and then we got straight to work and went OYM'ing! That stands for open your mouth, and basically you just walk around and try to talk to people and give them messages about the gospel and Jesus Christ or whatever you feel prompted to say! It definitely hit me that night that I am actually in the mission field! This is craziness and the day I have been dreaming about my whole life has come!

I have had the opportunity to teach twin boys already and prepare them for baptism! They are 9 years old and they are just the cutest and full of energy! How is it that a 9 year old can be an example to you? One of the twins is already sharing his testimony and beliefs with his friends at school!! How cool is that?!

People weren't kidding when they said Florida was hot. The second I got off the plane, I felt hot and sticky haha.

Sister Mcloed and I are becoming crazy I think. We find ourselves, around 9pm, saying the weirdest things:
"Does the ceiling come down right here"
"Actually take your time, Jesus is more important"
You know you are becoming crazy when you use animated objects during a role play. For example, a couple days ago, we were role playing the restoration lesson and Sister mcloed said, "pretend this is my dog crimpley," and then picks up her crimping iron! We literally passed away right there and couldn't stop laughing!

Anyways, this week was absolutely amazing, and one big thing I learned was that we are doing this together. When we are going through these hard times, it is so comforting to know that we are NEVER alone! Christ is right there with us and He knows exactly what we are going through because he felt it. We can ALWAYS turn to Christ in these hard times and ask for help. His hand will be extended for us! Love you all, and have the best week ever! Talk to you later,
Sister Ella Jensen
