The cutest brunch of my life haha!!!

 Wow! What a week! To start things off, I can't believe I've been in Florida for 27 days already!! Like how did that even happen?? Sometimes, I will be driving, and all of the sudden I just think, "so am I actually in Florida right now? On a mission? For 18 months?!?!" Time is flying by, but it's so awesome! I love it here, and I honestly love the people even more! 


On Monday, we had a cute brunch with ladies from our ward and it was so fun to get to know them better! We had croissants and drank out of tea cups!! I felt like I was barbie and I was dreaming HA! Also, big news, but I solved the rubiks cube in 2:02!!! I don't know if I mentioned that in my other email, but here I am, telling you again! 

I really am so grateful to be a missionary! The spirit is so strong, and I am learning so much about myself! Sister Mcleod and I were OYM'ing and we started a conversation with a guy named John! He was saying how he is lost right now in his life, and so we bore our testimonies of the gospel and the joy that we have in our lives because of it. We then asked him if he thought it was fate that we met today, and he told us he was just thinking that!! I know that when we wake up every day, that Heavenly Father is guiding us to the people we need to talk to! 

This week, as a mission, studied in Preach my Gospel in the Restoration chapter! Here are a few things that I loved from my studies:
1. The restoration is the foundation of our faith!
2. It's not about teaching what we know, it's about teaching truth
3. Because of the Restoration, I know my father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ
4. What can you do to make Christ your best friend?

Last thing!! Easter was this weekend! WHAT?!?! One of the sweet families in the ward made each of us sisters Easter baskets and we had to go find them!! It was the sweetest thing, and I just LOVE them! I also love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I am so grateful for him and his infinite atoning sacrifice! Because of Him, I get to live with my family forever. He is the strongest person I know, and I really do strive to be like Him every day! I know that when I do that, I am filled with JOY!! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY HAHAHA! 

I just want to end off by saying how much I LOVE ALL OF YOU! It means so much to me to have every single one of you on my email list, and thank you for all the support you give me! This is such a big chapter in my life, and it makes me so happy to be able to share it with you!! LOVE YOU BUNCHES!

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
