SO MANY MIRACLES!!

Hey ya'll! Im just going to apologize in advance for the long email:) This was such an amazing, and miracle filled week:) there were also lots of things that did not make any sense whatsoever hahaha, but I laugh about it now:) As of today, I have been in Florida for 55 days! I can't even believe it!! The time really is flying by! (I know I literally say that in every email lol so sorry)

On Monday, we played pickle ball for the first time since being out on the mission! Can I just say how much I have missed pickle ball:) we met this cool guy named Chris, and he was kinda scary, not going to lie. He was a pickle ball champion, that's all I'm going to say about that hehe. Later in the week we went over to a family's house in our ward for dinner, and their twin boys started putting stickers all over Sister Mcleod and I! They were the cutest ever and so I kept the stickers obviously lol and then it all took a twist that night because I cut Sister Mcleods hair!! It was her first haircut kinda, and she says she loves it lol

The quote of the week is, "do you ever just want to drink moisturizer?" So yeah, I said that lol. Let me give you the context. You know when there is like a tickle in your throat and water just doesn't help because it's like in the other pipe? Well yeah, same. That's why I said the moisturizer thing haha.

Now for the best day ever! Thursday!!! So I am currently serving in the Pines South area of my mission and basically, it's so hard to get any phone numbers or anything because all the communities are gated, and there are not a lot of humble people around here lol. To switch it up, Sister Mcleod and I went to a food truck event happening at the mall, and did OYM'ing around there! And you won't even believe it, WE GOT 4 NUMBERS in 2 hours!!! I was on top of the world that night, and ever since then really lol. First, we met this sweet girl from Columbia, and got some cute jewelry! Next, this random sushi guy asked us, "You like shrimp?" We obviously said YES!! When we came back around to his stand, he had a whole plate full of sushi for us!! So nice right?!?! Half way through eating it, we realized he probably could have done something bad to it, but we continued to eat it anyways lol. Then, it gets better. Then, a guy came up and asked us, "come wash your hands with me." Weirdest thing someone has said to me hahaha. So we went over and he pulls out this huge gas tank full of water, and starts dumping it on our hands. He gave us a sugar scrub, and then told us we have crusty elbows, so he started putting lotion on our elbows lol. After all that, we got back in the car, and we just sat there in silence for a quick sec. Like what even just happened lol?!?! I still have no idea how to comprehend what that was, but it was fun! Oh and we got a picture with a cool guitar guy! We had one more person. We decided to go inside the mall and find someone to talk to. We were literally inside of the great and spacious building. As we were walking, I saw this lady and I felt really strongly to go up and start talking to her. She was at a shoe booth, and so we asked her what the best part of her day was, and she said it was that she got to talk to her mom! How cute?!?! And then I'm not really sure what happened next because I can't remember, but we got on the topic of knowing if the Bible is true and if there is a God, and all that jazz. Before I could even think, the words started flowing out of my mouth, and I asked her if she has prayed to know if it's true. I'm telling you right now, that was not me speaking at all, and it was the Holy Ghost. She told us that she had never done that before, and that she is going to try!! YAY! Then she told us that when she saw us walking up to her, she called us hypocrites:( but then she said that she is taking that all back because this was the best experience she has ever had with missionaries, and she is going to remember it!

Sometimes it's so hard to see the effect we have on people in the moment, but it's all about planting seeds! That truly was a day I will never forget! It's my testimony, and I am so grateful for it!

Okay, so sorry this us such a long email, but I just can't help but share everything that happened this week haha! Last night, we had a devotional for the church, and President Russel M. Nelson spoke to all the young adults! I live him so much! Here were some of the notes that I took:
- Ask yourself: What would a holy young adult do?
- worry less about what others think of you, and more about what our Savior thinks of you.
- we need to know the truth about who we are, what Heavenly Father has offered us, and the truth about our conversion.

We are literally sons and daughters of God! We are disciples of Jesus Christ! And Heavenly Father loves ALL of His children, no matter our circumstances. I love this gospel with all of my heart, and I am so grateful to be apart of the greatest work! We all have divine DNA and we have so much potential. Satan will never help us, and all he wants for us is to be sad forever. We are here on Earth for a nanosecond compared to eternity. Now is the time to decide for ourselves how we want to live for eternity!

So sorry again for the long email, but if you lasted this long, you are a real one haha. I love you all so much, and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you!! Don't ever forget that you have so much to be:)

Love,
Sister Jensen
