205lb Magic!

Hey! Hi! Hello! Hola! Aloha! I'm back friends! It's been a crazy week, and I'm not entirely sure where to even begin! I'll try my best, but I'm currently scatter-brained haha, so bear with me!

For starters, we were able to see the ocean! AGAIN! My area is literally the ocean, so what can I say, I am so happy:) Also, it was Sister Anderson's Birthday this week, and she is 20!! AAAHHH craziness! We celebrated, of course and went to a surf shop and bought matching tees:) and then we had to get sushi for lunch and sunflowers (it's a must have)

Okay, so every pday, there is a sweet man from the ward that buys us groceries!! So precious right?!?! Right! We pick up the groceries, and sing him a church hymn and then he takes our picture! Haha he's so cute and we love him! A couple days later, we had dinner at a members home, and you will never believe how big their dog was!! He was 205lbs!! I'm not even joking! He was the cutest dog ever, and I guess he's a lap dog! He's a Great Dane and his name is magic:) (you'll see in the pictures) I was so happy, it literally made my whole week!

So we met this man named Steve! He is a member of the church, and we met him at the Lord's Table! Haha yes. He named it that! We read scriptures, prayed, and learned about Jesus Christ together! Could it get any better? No. The answer is no. It cannot!

I feel like I am just all over the place, but now for the best part of the week... DRUMROLL... RICKY GOT BAPTIZED! I just can't even explain how grateful I am to be a missionary! I love seeing peoples lives change for the better! Everyone is born with the light of Christ, and when you take those steps of following in the saviors footsteps, the light grows and becomes brighter! I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ! He was already perfect, but because He loves us unconditionally, He came to earth, and showed us the way. The more we look towards the Savior, the happier we are, and the more we will start to see miracles play out in our lives!

This time I have as a missionary is sacred! It's amazing! I know that we don't have to wear a name tag to be a missionary! Everyone has the opportunity to be a light in someone else's life! The joy that you get when you share the gospel is beyond compare!! So go do it! Experiment upon the words of Christ:)

Love,
Sister Jensen
