6 MONTHS AS A MISSIONARY!

 Hi! Guess what?! I have been a missionary for 6 whole months HA! I can't even believe it! I would never go back for anything! I love being a missionary with my whole heart because I get to see the way Christ changes people's lives! Everyone is better with Christ in their lives; I've seen it:) 


This will be the quickest email of my life lol 

Best part of the week: we got to go to the temple! It's probably my favorite place on Earth. Okay, IT IS my favorite place on Earth. It's where I feel closest to my Savior. It's where I feel the love of Christ for myself and for the people that surround me:) it is perfectly peaceful! 

Weirdest part of the week: there was a man that randomly called us and told us he wanted to pray and then started go cry... so precious! Then he told us that the sister missionaries 2 YEARS AGO wanted him to be baptized but he wasn't ready then, but he's ready now!! So we met him and proposed a date to be baptized and his reaction was not really expected... let's just say he was fighting a spiritual battle inside of his body. Seriously. I think demons were trying to possess him... anywho, now he spontaneously flew to Utah to be "with his love Jodi." So we will see what happens lol

Coolest thing that happened this week: we saw Opras house... from a distance... pretty cool though, but yeah that's it HAHA 
Also, I got to see my old companion, Sister Davis, which was muy fun!!

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. This week especially was just full of so many different kinds of people, and I LOVE IT!  I'm just going to sum this week up in some bullet points:) - Let me start with Joe... Joe came up to us in Bass Pro shop and took our whole district to lunch! He was following us around, and we were a little scared and then he was super friendly, and sometimes a little too friendly. Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
