A Beautiful Disaster

 Oh my goodness! I am overwhelmed by all of the birthday wishes! First, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! It means the world! Love you lots! Now let's get to business haha


To start things off we have a cursed Tiki statue in our house from Haiti... everything around it falls and it's just the creepiest thing on this planet! We do not touch it obviously haha

Moving on to better things:) we had the most amazing miracle this week! So we were trying to plan for our friend Ethan's lesson and we really wanted to give him a Book of Mormon, but we didn't have anymore! We did however have one Creole Book of Mormon in our car and we said if we prayed hard enough it could turn into an English one haha (joking, but also not joking) we decided to search the house for one because there had to be one somewhere right? Right! I'm not even exaggerating when I say that all I did was touch a pillow and out of nowhere a box falls and inside there is 1 English Book of Mormon!! We were all screaming! Quite literally! Our neighbors probably hate us, but hey! It is what it is:) but the crazy thing is the other sisters I live with were trying to find a book the other day and there wasn't one in there when they looked, but it just showed up!! 

Tiki man has nothing on us haha!! 

This whole week was WILD! I've also never had so many cakes given to me in one week haha on my birthday we went to a members home to have dinner and she wanted to get carrot cake (which is the best cake on this planet. Don't argue haha) but she got apple pie instead! She decided to bring out the "special candle." Oh boy it was special that's for sure! They started to light it, and it was kind of fun! I felt like I was at a campfire because the flame was massive! (It wasn't supposed to be that way) the candle was supposed to flare out into a flower and instead of doing that, the plastic melted together and was dripping all over the pie!! I was literally peeing my pants it was so funny! (Joking) but actually I was dying! The member kept piling on more and more pie because I clearly "didn't have enough" lol it was just the cherry on top! 

I don't think I will ever forget this week! Miracles on top of miracles, cake, Tiki man, going to FAU, and just being a missionary! I learn so much about my Savior Jesus Christ when I implement Him in everything I do! It's crazy how you can see him more in your life when you focus on loving Him during hard times! Jesus Christ is the greatest example! We are taught that in the scriptures! And the only way we can become like Him is by going through hard times like He did!! 

"happiness does not depend on the circumstances but on our attitude toward the circumstances." 

Heavenly Father loves His Children! Our Heavenly Father’s love for each of His children is real. He is there for each one. I don’t know how He does it, but He does. I know that through Jesus Christ we will become the person God sees us as when we rely on Him and His grace:)

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
