"SISTERR JEENKIINS"

 Guess what?! Still a missionary haha and nothing much has changed! 


Big big news though, remember Adam? If you don't that's okay. He was a friend we were teaching in my last area, and he had a lot of struggles with addictions which we were working so hard on! Because I am still living in the same area, but in a different ward, I get to hear about all the people I was teaching before and it's such a blessing! To get back on topic, Adam... got... BAPTIZED!! AAAHHH I was so so excited for him! I'm not even exaggerating when I say that he has had a complete change of heart! He even wore a suit to church! And what's even better, I actually saw him smile! HA it was amazing! It just proves how good God really is and how true the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is! This is Jesus Christ's gospel and it is for everyone no matter where you are at in life:) 

Second miracle! On Friday we were going out to find Lovely's house, but all we had was a building number and no apartment number. When we pulled into the complex, Sister Peterson and I felt so strongly to go knock on this one door on a completely different building! We decided to try knocking on all the doors for the other building first, and guess what?? No one answered and none of them were her:( afterwards we went to the door we felt first and when we knocked... no one answered... so we left a little note hoping it was her house! The next day, we were planning to meet up with her and she finally sent us her address, and when we pulled up to the apartment, IT WAS THAT DOOR!! We both just stood there with our jaws on the floor because you know! MIRACLES! I've found that when we really rely on God more than the things of the world, we are directed to where we are needed! God knows His children more than we do! Why wouldn't we trust Him:) 

Okay get ready for this one! Another week, another day on a college campus:) this time we decided to switch things up and bring a member with us! She is about to serve her mission in Georgia and as we were walking we let her decided which way to go! We were passing so many people and there was one girl in particular that when we passed and said hi, she gave us the BIGGEST smile:) I was about ready to get whiplash haha and turn around to go and talk to her when she was the one that turned around to talk to us! She started talking and asked us if we were serving our missions! And turns out her best friend is serving a mission right now on Salt Lake City UT and she was so excited to see us! She was the cutest, and I loved it! 

Alright. I have one question. What do you do with 3 and a half dozen of eggs??? Because I am at a loss. We had dinner with a man and his family and they gave us SOOO many fresh eggs (they even still had the poop on them... so you know it's good) and told us how to store them lol and one of the other members of our ward just can't get my name right! He always says, "SISTEERR JEENKIINS!!" I wish I could record myself saying it and show you but trust me, I laugh every time haha *shakes his hands to the sky*

This week I was studying a lot on repentance and something that I learned was that repentance goes 2 ways: God forgives you and you forgive yourself! As hannah Montana says, "Nobody's perfect!" We really do all make mistakes and we are not perfect, but how blessed are we to be able to access the Atonement of Jesus Christ in our daily lives!

I love this gospel! It is so beautiful, and life changing! I invite all of you to discover for yourself how you can personally access the Atonement of Jesus Christ in your daily life:) love you lots and talk to you later!!

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
