11 MONTHS AS A MISSIONARY?!!

 I can't even express how crazy it is to already be at 11 months! I'm in shock! I didn't believe it when people said it goes by fast, but now I can understand! Being a missionary is the greatest blessing in my life right now! I know I say it a lot, but the gospel of Jesus Christ changes people from the inside out! I've seen it so many times, and I am so grateful that God gives me the opportunity to be part of His work and His purpose:) 


Let's get started with the week:) I'm going to be honest, it was one of the slower weeks, but still good in its own ways:) I'd give it aaaa... 6.43 haha of course not every week will be amazing, but it's the way you look at it that makes it better! Choose Joy am I right?! 

Here's some other funny highlights:
- we went for a walk, and of course had to stop and hug a tree... you should try it sometime:) it's very therapeutic 
- elder Greenig (an elder in our district) literally effortlessly jumped out of his chair and floated towards the ceiling, and then floated back down to his chair! Let's just say my jaw was on the floor... backstory... we were telling an interesting fact about ourselves in district council and his was that he was athletic, so we obviously needed a demonstration:) that's the story haha
- Sister arlint and I are cup pong champions (won 3 times, and never took the L) let's party

The miracles for the week was meeting Sandi! We ended up getting our hair cut!! Woot woot! And while we were there, we met a lady and she was asking about our nametags and what church we go to and all the good stuff haha we told her what our purpose was as missionaries and then somehow the plan of Salvation was brought up and we bore oir testimonies about how there's life after death, and she thought that was so interesting! HA we got her number, and hopefully we are going to talk to her more this week:) I'll keep you posted hehe!! 

I have seen time over time that God is preparing people to hear the gospel! This work is real and it blows my mind every day how amazing it is! God is good! Jesus Christ loves you! And I know that God frequently gives you want you want, and unfailingly gives you what you need!

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. This week especially was just full of so many different kinds of people, and I LOVE IT!  I'm just going to sum this week up in some bullet points:) - Let me start with Joe... Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
