"So which one of yall wants to be my wife?!"

 Hello, and welcome back to the hectic life of me, Sister Jensen:) you better hold on tight because there's so much to talk about since it's been like 5 years since I last wrote an email (10 days...) a lot can happen in those last 3 days haha


Miracle #1: 
Okay, so Sister arlint and I wanted to go to the campus on Tuesday to find more people to teach, but we were literally dead. We decided to just push through and pray A LOT that we could have energy to talk to people! We ended up getting 14 numbers, and meeting this girl Alaja who is so cool! The first thing she said was that she wanted to come closer to God, but she doesn't know how! Well Alaja, we have the answer for you! It's the gospel of Jesus Christ of course! The answer is always Jesus! Anyways that was a cool miracle from the week! 

Miracle #2: 
So God must really have loved us this week because we had some bomb lessons with people who were actually interested in hearing what we have to say! 3 people in particular: Caleb, Bryan, and Jhimy!! Caleb was asking questions about the Book of Mormon and his dad was trying to get him to not even try reading it, but he wanted to know for himself! Cool right? It gets better! Bryan is completely amazing! He knows everything! We taught him about the restoration and he already knew about all of it, even Joseph Smith! The spirit was seriously so strong! I was bawling my eyes out haha (fun fact: I'm a crier now yay) and then there's Jhimy... boy, does he have so many questions! And the crazy thing us, he just gets them all out at once, and we are sitting there like uuuhhh what first?? Haha he is also a talker! He showed up at our lesson, and said, "okay, I'm gonna let yall do the talking today..." and then he talked for literally an hour! We maybe said 5 minutes in all that time haha! He's super cool though, so we are excited to see where things go! 

Miracle #3:
Ivan is baptized! Woot woot! I love him to death! He already has changed so much, and I'm so happy I was able to see the growth from the first time that I met him! 

Miracle #4: 
Alrighty, we were on our way to a lesson and we get a phone call from this random number and the guy said his name was Byron! He said he didn't really know what to say, but he wanted us to stop by his house, and visit his less active Sister Alicia! We wanted to go, but we had a lesson! And then our lesson fell through, so we were able to go visit them! We knocked, and Alicia answered and she was on the phone with Byron, and I guess he was telling her to let us in haha! We were able to share a little scripture and get to know her sister in law who isn't a member, and then they gave us free homemade tamales and empanadas! Oh they were soooo good! 

Okay now I'm just going to do little bullet points for the other things, so this email doesn't turn into a novel haha 
- Sister Blackmore was cooking bacon, and the stove started on fire and wouldn't go out, so naturally Sister Arlint got the flour and threw some on the fire haha it didn't go away, but she blew it out! (It's supposed to be baking soda) but it's the thought that counts! We were dying, soooo yeah good memories:) we didn't die, and that's a miracle for sure 
- we were trying to invite our friend renny to an activity, but he only speaks Spanish and he told us he couldn't go because he got a cut on his finger... we laughed for a solid 30 minutes 
- we bought sunflowers on the side of the road! Again! 
- milkshakes are actually pronounced "milkey-shakey"
- our member Jordan found some friends on the bus, and invited them to church and 2 of them came and the first thing that one of them said to Sister Arlint and I was, "so which one of yall wants to be my wife??" Oh goodness. It was so funny! 

To sum up the week, God has a bigger plan! When one thing doesn't look like it's going to work out it's for a reason! God has everything already prepared for us! He wants us to be happy, and when one door closes, another one opens!

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
