Eminem once said, "you can't Google the spirit."

 Hello! Good morning! Happy Tuesday! I know I say this a lot, but this week was one of my favorite weeks of my mission! For starters, it was General conference, so it's a win win! I absolutely LOVE conference weekend! And something that I've noticed, which is crazy to think about, but when you are doing a lot of spiritual work, your physically tired! And that's why everyone is so tired conference weekend! HA I found the answer! Hahaha anyways, all of the talks this conference were so focused on the Savior, and making covenants with our Heavenly Father! Bonnie H. Cordon said, "never give up an opportunity to testify of Christ!" When we say oir testimony outloud, the spirit testifies of the truths we say again! It strengthens our testimonies while we share them! Isn't that cool?? The gospel is just so perfect:) 


During conference this weekend, our recent convert Charles texted us during the Saturday afternoon session, and told us that he has seen the choir in a dream a year ago! Here was his exact text: "That dream of seeing the church choir,I was in jail when I had that dream.I remember thinking about it, what is the meaning of this dream and today God really showed me dream do come true Sister....." God truly is a God of miracles, and "anything is possible if you just believe." lol

I had some other super random things happen this week...
- we were in the Walmart bathroom, and while I was waiting for Sister Mcleod to come out, I hear this scream come from the big stall, and it sounded like someone was jumping up and down. The door opens, and this girl (maybe in her late 20s) comes out with her hands up in the air and the BIGGEST smile on her face! She looks at me and says, "I'M NOT PREGNANT!" haha okay... just slide that in there casually lol I just stood there like uuuhhh okay!! Haha the things that happen in walmart! WILD! 
- I tried Venezuelan food for the first time... it was questionable...
- in one of our lessons with Charles he quoted Eminem and said, "you can't google the spirit." Straight facts Charles. Straight facts. Teaching charles is one of my favorite things! Even though he can't understand over half the things we say, the spirit is still there testifying of the things we do say! And it is so cool because every time we go to teach him, he ends up teaching us in return! 
- We filmed a video for general conference, and it was my worst nightmare... we recorded all the parts, and after we put it all together, the computer glitched, and erased EVERYTHING! The videos, GONE! The edits, GONE! The audio, GONE! My head in the moment went to, "do you ever feel like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?" So we basically put together a video twice in 12 hours:) good times! 

Okay, we filmed the most EPIC music video this week that will be released this week on Find His Light in South Florida on Facebook! (So you'll have to check it out) but it was SO FUN! It consisted of hanging out the car window to get the perfect angle and shot, 8 cello parts, laying on hair covered floor, and "Billy" aka: Elder Kinghorn, falling backwards in chairs while one of the elders had a white sheet over him and caught him. 
- We got to fly the drone at the hardrock, and we couldn't check to see if it was a flying zone or not, so we just prayed and went for it! We were on top of the parking garage sitting on the ground when a police car pulls up right behind us... we wave, and he didn't even see us! It was like God put a shield around us, so no one could see. 

Okay, I'll only mention conference one more time haha but a big theme I saw was about charity vs. contention. Our prophet said, "those who foster contention are taking a page out of Satan's play book." His talk was a call to repentance for the whole world! Yes, contention is a choice, but peace is also a choice. We can pray and ask God to give us charity, which is the antidote for contention! We are all children of a God who is perfect, and doesn't make mistakes! He sent His son to literally suffer and die for us, so we can feel relief in this weighted world! Jesus Christ is relief, and we need to choose to let Him heal us!

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
