Gotta go back for the Iguana nail...
Happy Monday! I'm going to be honest with yall, not a lot has happened this week, so this is going to be a shorter email:)
We decided to go biking for like the first time in forever it felt... let's just say we are sore now. Note to self: bike more so you don't get sore, and instead get ripped! Jk! No but we biked to Chigozie's and found out some very valuable information about her and what she believes about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith! As we retaught her the restoration this random woman named Elizabeth came by the house and sat in on our lesson! As we shared the first vision, she was in awe and the spirit was SO STRONG! Anyways, the next day when we went by, Chigozie had read just the intro and did some studies of her own, and then ended up teaching us the restoration haha! It was awesome!
Then we get to the next part about our biking adventures... we're just riding along, and then Sister Mcleod screams at me that we have to go back to the dead iguana on the sidewalk so she can get one of the nails from it... hahaha So we did, and she got her nail! Fun fact: iguanas are really hard to cut!
Side note: we filmed the most EPIC music video this week for the Find His Light page, sooo once again, keep your eyes peeled! It's going to blow your mind hahaha
Anywho... we were able to go over to our friend Ileana's house and help her move into her new place! It was SO HOT outside! Before I even know it, summer is going to be here, and I'm going to be dying once again! The weather here is just built different. Anyways, it was super fun, but as we were getting further into the moving truck, she noticed that all her paintings and pictures had been ruined by the floods! It was just heartbreaking!
In church this Sunday we talked a lot about ministering to the one! It was perfect because I felt like this week as a whole was very much about ministering to the one, like Ileana for example! Here are some of the notes I took in church this weekend:
- perfectionism is comparing our weaknesses to someone else's strengths
- God doesn't compare us to others, He instead compares us to what He sees us to become
- Adam first had to fall before he could have joy
- we are on the path TO perfection
- What you are is enough for Heavenly Father
I know that God sees us, and He sees our efforts! NO EFFORT IS WASTED! Remember that all things are possible through Christ! Love you all! Have a fabulous week!
Love,
Sister Jensen
