Florida man crashes plane in the road!?!?!
"Anotha week anotha spiritual dolla!" Heyy friends and family! This week has been the biggest rollercoaster, so hold on tight cause there's a lot to share!
It was transfers last week, and I got a new companion, SISTA STEVENS!! AAAHHH transfer day was also insanely hectic because 75 out of 90 companionship were there from our mission so I guess you could say it was a mad house! And then... I saw Sister Arlint!! It was like a movie scene because we ran to give hugs across the parking lot hahahaha we were the main characters at that moment!
Things have been an absolute party over here in tech and we have so many fun projects happening these next couple of weeks! We had to go give a training in MLC to all the young mission leaders and it was probably the scariest thing I've done in my life! The amount of dart eyes we got was insane! If you want success, you have to have faith in God first! No matter how hard you try, it will not compare to how much you could do with God on your side!
Other things that happened this week:
- This week also happened to be the week that our areabook was broken and so was everyone else's in our mission so no one had any contacts or anything! So crazy how much technology impacts us as missionaries!
- we were driving to the store when we saw a plane crashed on the side of the road, and nothing left but it's skeleton!! CRAZY!
- we went to our friend Marlene's house and oh my goodness, I have never been in a stinky house than this one! She told us that she pees all over the house and we look over and there is a BIG pud
dle of pee on the floor with one of those little doggy mats on the floor!!😶🌫️ she said she just picks it up with her little grabber thing and let's the rest of it dry on the ground!!!!!?!?!?! It was so funny! Sister Stevens was trying so hard not to throw up while we were reading the book of Mormon! Never again! Also speaking of her, she was talking about her ex, and just randomly says, "there was a time i wanted to go to his door and kill him." ... we were dead. We love those out of pocket comments from our friends:)
- we went to the BIGGEST farmers market ever and got mangos and empanadas! So good!
- we also live in an igloo! Our room is the coldest one in the house and no matter how many layers we have, it's still the igloo!
I mentioned it earlier, but faith is key! And faith without works is dead! If we want to see miracles we have to first seek them, and then expect them!
Love,
Sister Jensen
