"Give me the tweezers. I'm Going in!!!"

How in the world is it already June??!?!! My mind just can't comprehend how fast time goes! I think I've mentioned this before, but I discovered, or at least I think lol, that the reason why it feels like time goes by so fast on a mission is because we are on God's time, and in His eyes we are only here for 1 day! Just food for thought:) anyways, let's get on with it shall we??!!!

We gave our last zone conference training for the transfer, and let's just say that I never would have thought in a million years that I would be standing in front of a bunch of people giving a training and not be nervous!!! I can testify that God turns our weaknesses into strengths for sure when we do our part, and give them over to Him!

That same evening we performed surgery... quite literally! And I am going to apologize right now, but there was some blood... We were on the phone calling some of our friends, and my ingrown nail on my toe had been bothering me all week, soooooo I started to cut off the top of the nail so it could feel a little better. When 9 hit, Sister Stevens grabbed the tools lol and started digging at my toe, and holy guacamole, it was MASSIVE!!! "Give me the tweezers. I'm Going in!!!" (famous last words) She dug out my nail and now it feels a lot better, but we were laughing so hard! I'm definitely not a feet person, so I'm glad Sister Stevens could do it lolol!!

Second crazy thing that happened, well it's not that crazy, but we were out visiting some people and it is just the worst when someone gives you an address and they don't give you the apartment number lol. So we said a prayer and just went forward, and as soon as we turned the corner the door that had a sticker star on it with a 3 stood out to us, so we just knocked and it turned out that it was the house we were looking for! I don't know if this is just a Florida thing, but people here like to just talk to you through the door by yelling, so we had a full on conversation with the lady inside yelling through the thick door lol. We asked her if we could just give her a card to give to Florence, and she said that she couldn't because she wasn't wearing any clothes!!!! Oh yes, only in Florida haha I love life. On our way out, this little kitten wouldn't leave us alone and just followed us all the way to our car! It was the saddest thing ever, and I just wanted to pick her up and take her home with me, but no! We'll call her Sally. One day Sally, one day:)

So sorry this email is just all over the place! But we are teaching this girl named Angelica who is staying at a recovery center, but we can't go visit her because they don't accept visitors sadly:( BUT we dropped off a Book of Mormon and some pamphlets, so she could start reading and she was so excited! She called us the next day and thanked us for bringing her those things and she said she was going to start reading ASAP! Then she told us that she was about to start reading the Book of Mormon when someone "accidentally" spilt their red juice all over the book, and so it got ruined!!! SATAN! He is just too sneaky, but little does he know that we have a whole box of Books in our car haha! So we dropped off another one, and she called us again to tell us that she doesn't know why, but she keeps feeling this pull to talk to us and when she does she feels an overwhelming peace inside!! Is that not the cutest and most tender thing you've heard today?? I KNOW RIGHT!!

Also, we had our friend Jeffery finally make it to church this week! He is the 14 year old that we are teaching and while we were at church he didn't even talk to us! He was out playing with all the young men, and just having a grand ole' time! (I don't know if that's how you spell it lol) but he just fit right into the ward, which by the way grew twice its size this week because of the ward boundary changes! We were running around like chickens!!!

Okay last thing!! So I was studying in the Book of Mormon this week of course lol and I set a goal for myself to have a spiritual experience every day with the scriptures, and I have just seen the coolest miracles from that! In Alma chapter 36 there is what is called Chiasmus! That is what is called inverted parallelism where words or ideas are arranged in a certain order and then repeated in reverse order! That was a little hard to understand, but basically it means that the middle of the chapter is what you need to pay attention to the most because it is the most important information! What I thought was so cool was that the 2 middle verses talk about the Atonement of Jesus Christ! We NEED to rely on His Atonement in order to feel relief and rest!He should be the center of everything we do or say because it is only through Him that we can have eternal joy!

I hope all of you have a fabulous week, and keep being positive!!

Love,
Sister Jensen
