"Tipsy on the lime in my dirty coke..."

OH MY GOODNESS!!! So, turns out I've hit my last transfer! Aaaahhhh kind of freaking out, and at the same time it hasn't even hit me yet! So it's going well! It's been a very long week and a half since our last pday, and I am dead tired. So tired that I woke up yesterday with 2 purple lines under my eyes. I was not well haha. But I am so so excited for the new transfer! I am going to... MIAMI!!! I'll be in the Killian ward with the cutest sister, Sister Fletcher! Love her to death! Let me get on with the week now.

THE SISTERS CONFERENCE!!!
It was AMAZING to say the least, and the theme of it was based off of John 1:48. If you haven't read the parable of the fig tree, go right now! It is one of my very favorites! Basically it is about being seen under the fig tree, and that Christ does see us. Obviously we needed to have figs to decorate the center of the tables according to the one and only Sister Cluff! Love her. So she sent us all on a wild goose chase trying to find real figs at the grocery stores. The conference started at 10, and it was 9:30, and we still did not have figs. Sister Stevens and I went to Joe himself (Trader joes) and they all kept saying, "it's not fig season." Sorry, but that was not the answer I wanted or needed to hear lol so we were going to drive back to the mission home right as we were passing Whole foods, and decided to try even though the sisters called and they said they didn't have any figs. We walked around the whole store probably 3 times, and nothing. I walked up to this worker, and he told me the exact same thing everyone else was telling me, "it's not fig season." Well that's just silly. WHEN IS FIG SEASON?!?!! And then we were about to leave, and I decided to go ask another worker, and he stops and turns around and says, "oh yeah, they are right there." *points to the biggest pike of figs you can imagine*!!!! Those were NOT there before, and everyone probably though Sister Stevens and I were absolutely nuts because we were jumping up and down and getting so excited in the middle of whole foods hahaha. It was a miracle! So worth it!

We also had the craziest lesson with Bradley and Yelris. It wasn't that crazy, but we went in to the lesson not really knowing what was going to happen or what we were going to say, and we ended up asking them to be baptized!!! They have been tough cookies teaching them, and they just agreed out of the blue! It was AMAZING!

And then on the same day, we saw these 2 members who are less active at the walmart just getting some cereal and milk to have a bros night haha but the coolest part was that we were going to leave because the checkout line was literally to the back of the store, but we felt like we should stay, and they were right behind us in line!!! And then, we found out that it was 13 years ago that day that they were baptized! CRAZY!

Okay so next item of ward business is that Sister Stevens and I went on a little trip this week... to the... KEYS!!! We were just floating on a tiny island in the middle of the atlantic ocean and the gulf of mexico haha and SO MUCH HAPPENED! We were filming a music video for our Spanish facebook page that the elders wrote and we were just having the time of our lives! We touched and fed key deer who are endangered, ate a coconut that Mike cut down for us, saw crabs everywhere, got key limes from the keys, ate key lime pie from the keys, almost walked into the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life, saw a pile of bones..., saw a full double rainbow, walked on a 7 mile long bridge that went right over the ocean, we basically stood in the garden of eden haha, and one of the elders told us about a rap he made with a past companion (the title of my email... it's actually really good, so you should try it if you haven't already: diet coke, lime, vanilla *chefs kiss*) So yeah! That is what happened on the keys, and it was a dream!!! I didn't want to leave!

So sorry for the super long email, but I just had to say a lot haha But miracles are real! Jesus Christ lives! God is a perfect creator, and I know that the Lord gives you strength even when you have purple lines under your eyes haha.

Love,
Sister Jensen
