"I'm a bucket"
Good morning! Happy Monday! Saying good morning is just the happier way if saying heeeeyyyy, so that's what we are doing now! Even if it's at 9pm; it's still just good morning haha! I hope everyone had an amazing week! Lots happened this week and at the same time, nothing super exciting happened, but I'll tell you anyways haha
SO first let's get this out of the way... we met snoop dog... just go look at the picture right now... don't continue reading until you have looked at the picture... I'll wait... okay great! Sister Fletcher saw him and was like "we have to take a picture with snoop dog!" And I said, "but he's holding beer!" And she goes, "exactly. It's better like that." So yeah, we are Florida women now and it's awesome haha other crazy thing is we held a hamster named Simba, and he sat on our lap while we shared a message with this cute family in our ward! So we were a trio for 30 minutes!
Basically this week was just super scattered so here's the rest of it in bullet points haha
- we were biking queens and almost got hit only twice
- we got all ready in the morning to go do service for someone in our ward, and we planned to bike so we could save miles, and well... we were down the street and she called and canceled soooo we had ro go back and get ready for the day again! Good times and it was nice little bike ride! Scenic route if you will!
- Sister Miyamoto almost lost her thumb because she was cleaning for house inspections too fast and cut herself!! So our lifeguard came out and we performed surgery.
- quote of the week: "I'm a bucket." And one more for laughs and giggles: "that's my dad. *raises eyebrows* - a little 5 year old in our ward at dinner! Gotta love kids
Okay if you aren't familiar with the story of dry bones in Ezekiel 37, you should go read it right now! It has become one of my favorite stories in the scriptures! I love that God keeps His promises to those that keep their promises! That's how it works! God asks us to do so little and in return, He does everything for us! Throughout your life, you will have times that are harder than others and you will just feel like dry bones in an open field, but know that Jesus Christ will heal you! He wants to heal you! Also remember that the Savior is the word, so we should consider whether our words are worthy of Him!
Love you all,
Sister Jensen
