“Taquito Me!”

 It's been a while since I've talked to yall! As in a while I mean it's only been 5 days haha but this email is going to be one of the shorter ones lol so let's get to it!!!


We went to the house of the Lord this week, so naturally it was the best week ever! The spirit is always so peaceful even on the grounds! It was a little sad because it's one of my last times going to the fort lauderdale temple before I go home! So naturally I bawled my eyes out haha but it was great! And the coolest experience happened! So in January, Sister Arlint and I went to the temple with our recent Converts, Justin and Ivan and did baptisms for her great grandparents! Well this time, we were able to go through the temple for them to be endowed and I got to be there for that as well! Let's just day the room was full! Full of the spirit, love, and our ancestors! It was an Arlint, Heaston, Jensen, Fletcher, and Miyamoto reunion!

Side note... speaking of Sister Arlint, we were in the bathroom and I was feeding her Taquitos while she showered haha! You just had to be there, because it was great! That's where the title comes from lol

We also went on exchanges this week and I was with the one and only... SISTER BARTON! She's the cutest ever and I spent the day in the heart of Miami in Spanish! Still don't know how to speak Spanish, but I'd like to think so now haha we taught someone outside the door while this lady blew smoke in our faces, we taught English class, and picked flowers, so it was a pretty successful day lol you can't go one day without smoke... especially in Florida lol we even ate at THE yummiest Honduran food place by the church! OH MY GOODNESS! If they don't have that in heaven, I'm not going! 

Okay last miracle! We were at church running around like chickens with our beads cut off because it wouldn't be a normal missionary Sunday if we weren't and this man came up to us and said he had a friend here that wants to learn how to get baptized! CHAD! We can fill the font right now and you can get baptized! Haha but the Lord literally just said, *plop* "here's an ELECT guy that is ready!"

OKAY GET THIS! Oir friend Rash is progressing SO GOOD! He is getting baptized! Ohhh yeeeaaaah! I could scream! It's so amazing! ITS WILD! 

I want you all to know that God is the source of all truth! He is the source of happiness! And something that hit me a little different this week is that we are all angels to someone! No matter who you are or who else you know, we are angels to eachother! We are literally one eternal family, and all God wants is for us to live together forever and ever! I love Him! I love my Savior, Jesus Christ! And I LOVE representing Him right now!

Elder Morrison said what??!

  Woa Guan Man! (That is how they say good morning in Jamaica!) Our friend Antonio taught us that the first time we went to see him haha! I just have to say, I love people. This week especially was just full of so many different kinds of people, and I LOVE IT!  I'm just going to sum this week up in some bullet points:) - Let me start with Joe... Chia pets, and shattered glass!!

  Hola mis amigos! Another transfer; GONE! I'm staying in Boynton Beach with Sister Anderson:) Time is just flying! I am so grateful to be a missionary! Seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way:) Okay let's get to what all of yall actually want to hear haha!  We have been teaching this super cool guy, Adam. There's a couple things you need to know about Adam: he has no concept of time, he wants to be baptized, and he has a lot of girl problems lol. He is always asking us for relationship advice... like of all people he asks the 2 girls who can't even have relationships haha anyways we just sit and listen. But he really does want to be baptized, so we are working with him to achieve that goal! We made a deal with him that if he doesn't smoke for one week, we will quit sugar. That one didn't last very long. I'm not going to say who cracked first, but let's just say we had ice cream last night haha.  Now for the crazy. Because you know I can't go...

Dori said to "Just keep swimming," so that's what I did...

  Oh-M-Goodness! If I could put every emotion into one week, this would be the week. I'm not even kidding. We cried, we laughed, we died, we "swam", we sang, we were happy, and we were sad. Everything in one:) "BREAKING NEWS, 2 SISTER MISSIONARIES STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON FLORIDA JUNGLE" no im kidding. For starters, I have NEVER seen this much rain in my entire life. This week we had a literal downpour. It was basically raining cats and dogs! I think we had 29 inches of water, and honestly, we probably had more than that. We were heading back home from our tech council, and we got stuck on this one street that was backed up for days because it was flooded! Every time a car would pass us, our car would lift off the ground a little bit because the waves! We were driving through the ocean.
